Last week was scary for me because Neil was gone and Henry woke up coughing and choking. This congestion, coughing, and wheezing continued throughout the weekend. So, Monday morning I scheduled an appointment with the doctor to get everything checked out. The wheeze was the most concerning to me because I know exactly how it feels to take a deep breath and have no where for the breath to go (not fun at all). The doctor listened to his lungs and of course commented on how happy of a baby he is. She decided to give him a breathing treatment, which loosened him right up. I am so grateful for medicine that works and a doctor who listens. Last night we gave him his first dose of steroids, which did wonders to reduce the swelling and production of mucus so he could actually breathe. Henry slept 10 hours last night!! I was starting to get worried after 8 hours past; I don’t think he has ever gone more than that. Well, I just want to say that Heavenly Father listens and answers prayers! I know that I would not have been able to handle everything without the comfort I felt after I prayed. We love you all!
